Ecotrail 3.0 - 10th Feb to 22nd Feb 2008
10th Feb to 22nd Feb 2008 ...
Finally ... the dreadful day arrived ... still kinda half hearted to go ... but whaddaheck ... oredi at the airport ... How I wish I can just blink and get transported to 22nd Feb instead .... haiizzzzzzzz .....
First few days were torturous .... the food, the place, the toilet!!!! But after a while, getting used to it. Slowly enjoying it .... but towards the end ... can't wait to be back in Singapore!!!! Another tormenting last few days to touch down ...
Weather was cold! Especially in the morning .... freezing cold! When talk got smoke come out!!!
Afternoon was like Singapore but minimum humidity. Nearly evry evening at Baan Phasert village, we will open shop and cook instant noodles, etc ....
Most of the days spent going to places of interests .... sometimes up to 4 or 5 places a day .... quite tiring .... We did jungle trekking, road trekking, visit hilltribe villages, waterfalls, military camp, branch office, etc ..... will elaborate when I have the time.
Anyway, the very least, I have to admit ... I was glad that I signed up for this trip ... it was a good experience ... tho leaving behind my family for 2 weeks was quite tormenting.
Thanks to Gareth and the other STA students (Lala, Iqbal, Tim) who invited me to be the advisor for this trip. :)
